Jeju Air CEO banned from leaving South Korea after plane crash

South Korean authorities have banned Jeju Air’s CEO, Kim E-bae, from leaving the country as part of the investigation into a tragic plane crash on December 29 that claimed 179 lives. Police raided Jeju Air’s offices and Muan International Airport as part of the ongoing probe. The crash has been attributed to a bird strike and adverse weather conditions.
