Description :
Saudi Arabia’s futuristic mega-city NEOM announced the opening of Sindalah, a luxury island in the Red Sea with restaurants, hotels, and yachting facilities.
Sindalah is NEOM’s “first physical showcase” and will be a gateway for yacht owners from Europe, Saudi Arabia. Covering over 840,000 square meters (about 200 acres), it aims to host up to 2,400 guests daily by 2028, offering 440 rooms, 88 villas, and 218 luxury serviced apartments, all featuring top amenities.
The island includes luxury hotels, venues, and restaurants, catering to the global yachting community. It’s just 17 hours by boat from major Mediterranean yachting hubs, with an 86-berth marina and 75 offshore buoys for superyachts.
Sindalah highlights Saudi Arabia’s goal to become a leader in global tourism and luxury, signaling a shift toward a diversified, post-oil economy.
